“MSU Vision 2020 program is going to be a turnaround strategy for our university and students' community. Mentorship, Incubator, and Merit awards programs of the Vision 2020 initiative are very close to our heart because they are directly going to make difference in the lives of students. About Us. What we do.

We are the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda Alumni with a global footprint and a strong partnership with MSU. We got started with the following programs. Each one has active MSU alumni involvement with the support of MSU officers and MSU student volunteers.

See FAQs for more information.

PROGRAM-1

Mentoring

Dream it.

When we graduated from MSU, we had scarce resources and mentors to help guide our careers and aspirations. Hence, our idea here is to connect students with alumni mentors and build a trusting relationship to further their careers and dreams. We are ready to mentor leaders of tomorrow.

PROGRAM-2

Incubator

Build it.

Success in tomorrow’s world will require innovation, courage, and passion. But it all begins with a dream. Maybe our students want to launch a business or turn their dreams into products that change the world. We are ready to share our experiences on innovation and entrepreneurship.

PROGRAM-3

Merit Awards

Earn it.

Typically merit students in colleges are recognized and rewarded in their final year of studies. Why not recognize students from their first year? Our program recognizes and rewards excellence and encourages the merit students to persist against all odds to sustain their smart path forward.

PROGRAM-4

Catalyst

Learn it.

With the rapidly evolving technological world, how can students have the most relevant skills to build their careers? We are the catalyst to work with MSU faculty to bring innovative certificate programs, guest lecture series, and colloquia from the best names in the industry, many are MSU global alumni.

Meet Our Dreamers

Suman

B.E. Computer Engineering (Year-1)

I have worked very hard to get admission in software engineering at MSU. I want to learn new skills like Cloud, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I challenge myself to be the top student in my class.

Jagdish

B.E. Mechanical Engineering (Year-3)

I am an ambitious person by nature. While I am working hard to develop my skills in mechanical engineering, I do need support and mentorship on advanced fields of building machines of tomorrow.

Mahesh

M.E. Electronics Engineering (Year-1)

While I had dreams to go to America for Masters, I did not have the funds to fulfill my dreams. I am interested in semiconductor design and would like to invent new IoT technologies.

Nalin

B.E. Chemical Engineering (Year-3)

I always got into trouble in high-school by hanging out with rowdy friends and my grades slipped. However, one of my teachers mentored me to trust in my abilities and I miraculously got into engineering college.

Radhika

B.E. Textile Engineering (Year-4)

I have been a shy person who have put my head down and worked hard to get good grades. However, I need a lot of mentoring and practical skills to secure a good paying job.

Deepak

B.E. Electrical Engineering (Year-1)

I come from a small farming village and have been passionate about fixing electrical machines. I am the first one in my family, and my village, to attend college and I want to become a businessman in the future.

We got started in July 2020

A group of global alumni from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda technology friends came together during the COVID-19 pandemic, over Zoom. Many of us connected with each other after decades - from various cities in United States, Singapore, Africa, and India. During this time, the idea of MSU Vision 2020 was born.

Why do we call ourselves MSU Vision 2020? While we got started in 2020, we continue to call ourselves MSU Vision 2020 for a simple mission - to assist our MSU Technology students with a near 20/20 vision for their future academic and professional careers in a rapidly changing global economic landscape.
